Located
in an un-spoilt area of South Mahe, Valmer Resort offers both
self-catering and half board accommodation with a wide range of
accommodation Chalets and Suites to cater for most requirements. This
is a hillside location and access to most rooms is by means of
steps. However, the walk is certainly worthwhile as the panoramic
views over Baie Lazare are quite superb.Peace,
tranquility and relaxation combine to make this resort a much
sought-after accommodation. From Baie Lazare the whole of the south and
east coast of Mahe is conveniently near. Numerous beaches unfold during
a trip along the coast road that wends it way north to Port Launay or
to the beaches of south and east Mahe. A free-form swimming pool, restaurant, water cascades and jacuzzi located
at the top of the resort serve as a hub for guests. In the main resort
area, there is an art gallery, beachware boutique and small library. For
the self-catering fraternity each grade of accommodation has a
kitchenette and there are mini-markets in the vicinity for supplies
(hire car recommended).
