Gracefully laced around the most north-westerly point of Praslin Island, Lémuria
Resort is a combined masterpiece of architecture and nature, working in perfect
harmony. The
palm-thatched suites and luxury villas with private pools have been
built from natural materials of wood, marble, stone and pink granite,
exuding an air of natural elegance. (see accommodation details below).
Consider also the Presidential Villa located in a private location on
Anse Kerlin. Boasting 3 private suites, 3 swimming pools each leading
onto the private beach, jacuzzi, study, lounge and your Villa master.All
suites and villas share a sea-facing position and are never far from
the two stunning private beaches, where swimming, snorkelling and water
sports are a delightful pleasure. Anse Georgette, a third beach, is a
short meander through the tropical gardens or a buggy ride via the golf
course which incidentally, was recently voted the second most beautiful
beach in the world. Nestled amongst lush vegetation and large
granite boulders, the impressive main pavilion commands views over the
surrounding beaches and the islands of Cousin, Cousine and distant Mahe.
The three cascading swimming pools are surrounded by wooden decks and
loungers, but for the slightly more energetic, a superb leisure and beauty
centre is available. There is also a fully equipped gym, two floodlit tennis
courts, a challanging 18-hole par 5 championship golf course (available to
Lémuria Resort guests with no green fees).The health and spa clinic
provides a variety of treatments, including facials, full body programmes,
massages, hand and feet treatments and hair care. Creole and
international cuisine are offered á la carte within the three restaurants and
there are four scenically positioned bars. Low-key entertainment is an option, infusing the evenings with a relaxing, romantic ambience.
