Located on Cerf Island, just 5 kilometres from
Mahe and its capital Victoria, L'Habitation Hotel lazes within the Marine
National Park and provides a magical haven for swimmers and snorkellers alike.
Cerf Island itself is sparsely populated and covered by dense
tropical vegetation with meandering pathways enabling exploration of this fascinating
island. With a myriad of tiny coves the Cerf Island coastline waits to be explored. L'Habitation Hotel provides pedaloes and canoes, which are available to access
coves difficult to reach on foot.
Designed as a typical colonial style
Plantation House, L’Habitation lies just yards from the swimming pool and small
beach with commanding idyllic views over the neighbouring smaller islands and of
course Mahe Island itself. The hotel provides a complimentary boat shuttle service to Mahe during the day.
The rooms are spacious, light and airy, nicely furnished and decorated and all
share superb views (see accommodation details below). Dining
in the hotel’s restaurant is a delicious experience of Creole and European
cuisine. There is also a bar, offering refreshments throughout the
day.
