A
pretty drive of some 25 minutes after leaving Seychelles international airport
brings you to the south west coast of Mahe and the recently opened Kempinski Resort. Situated within the panoramic Baie Lazare, first impressions are of a medium sized hotel alongside a 1km long, soft sand beach laced around a lush tropical coastline.
The
resort has a total of 150 rooms of various categories (see your
room choices below). The rooms are with either balcony or
terrace overlooking the bay or the hillside lagoon and have a step
down to the seating area from the bedroom level. (see rooms facilities
below). The rooms are located within a setting of seven courts each
with covered walkways.
The large infinity Olympic size swimming
pool is one of the main focal points of the resort with a smaller
shaded pool nearby for the children. For your dining
experience there is the open-air, all day dining Cafe Lazare restaurant
serving sumptuous breakfast and buffet evening dinners. The
Windsong Bar located at the beach serves lunchtime menus. For
speciality menus, the restaurant L'Indochine serves Indian Ocean cuisine for evening dinner. The open-air Planter's Bar & Lounge offers cocktails, tappas and your favourite drinks.
Other
resort features include a poolside gym with cardio and power training, the
Resence Spa with 6 treatment rooms. For utter relaxation, wend
you way to the air conditioned Tidal Lounge offering an extensive book
and DVD library. For the children, the Kids Club is on hand to
look after the little ones.
