Tapering gracefully into the far end of the Beau Vallon Bay beach,
the Meridien Fisherman’s Cove Hotel sits unassumingly overlooking the distant
islands of North and Silhouette, amidst the turquoise hues of the Indian Ocean.
The waters within the bay are ideal for swimming, snorkelling and water sports.
A gentle stroll along the soft, white sand beach with swaying palms will revive
both body and mind.
Overlooking
the magnificent Beau Vallon Bay is the free-form swimming pool and
beachfront restaurant offering a delicious selection of seafood,
salads, pastas, sandwiches, snacks and ą la carte menu and of course
liquid refreshments. Complimentary afternoon tea and coffee are served
daily and the nightly sundowner cocktail hour should not be missed. Le
Cardinal and Le Bourgeois restaurants serve delightful a la carte and
buffet dinners in elegant yet relaxed surroundings, enhanced by the
gentle lapping of the ocean waves.
The accommodation
falls into four main categories:Superior (Hibiscus) rooms are located in the main
building with sea-facing balcony or terrace,
De Luxe (Frangipani) rooms have sea views, some with a small garden, Classic (Bougainvillea
Creole) suites are beachfront or garden level with seperate living room area,
Executive (Allamanda) suites are at garden level, Classic (Orchid Creole)suites are beachfront or top
level and Executive (Orchid Contemporary) suites are located at the hotel's top level. All
rooms have well-appointed living areas, large bathrooms, satellite TV, air
conditioning, tea & coffee making facilities, bathroom with walk-in showers,
bathtubs, seperate toilet and bidet, telephone, mini-bar, hair dryer, room safe.
To tone up both mind and body, the resort boasts a health club with
exercise facilities, Spa facilities, massage and beauty treatments, plus a
floodlit tennis court.Water sports at the hotel include canoeing and
snorkelling. The hotel can arrange diving, game fishing and boat excursions in
the vicinity of the Beau Vallon Bay.
Victoria,
the capital of the Seychelles, is only ten minutes drive away, so the
Meridien Fisherman's Cove Hotel is ideally situated to explore the
smallest capital city in the world. Take a hire car for the day and
soak in the abundance of delightful sandy coves, towering granite
formations, the Botanical and Spice gardens.
