This
friendly and relaxed beach side hotel is nestled amongst beautiful
tropical gardens full with hibiscus, frangipani and flowering
bougainvillea on Praslin Island. Spacious Standard and Superior rooms are complemented by
the Black Parrot Junior Suites perched on an adjacent hilltop offering
magnificent ocean views.
The 'Coco-de-Mer' shaped swimming and
kiddies pool is surrounded by sun-bathing areas, sun loungers
and hammocks overlooking the beautiful Anse Bois de Rose bay and ocean.
The hotel lies on several small beaches within the bay. Prevailing
winds and tides during the months from May to October can
cause some seaweed. However, guests will always have access to
sunbathing areas and complimentary transfers to the stunning
Anse Lazio beach. Evenings at the Coco de Mer Hotel generally begin
with a stroll onto the stunning jetty, watching the magnificent
sunset whilst sipping tropical cocktails or a quiet meander through the
tropical gardens.
A variety of delicious Creole, International and Buffet cuisines are
served in the main Hibiscus restaurant, accompanied on some evenings by the occassional rhythmic vibes of local bands
and singers. The Mango terrace bar and grill also offers mouthwatering a la carte lunches and dinner menus.
Perched on top of a rocky out-crop are the
dozen romantic and very private Black Parrot Junior Suites with their own pool
and fabulous views over the ocean towards Cousine Island. A must for couples,
honeymooners and anniversary celebrations.
The
luxurious catamaran " Charming Lady" operates from the hotel and is
available for overnight and extended cruises. Contact Seychelles Travel
for details of this yacht. Many of our clients combine a 5 night
yacht cruise around the islands followed by a few nights in a hotel.
Coco de Mer offers a complimentary lounge area for early arrivals and late departures to Seychelles Travel clients.
