Situated in the picturesque Anse Forban Bay, south-east Mahé, these
well-maintained and spacious chalets are located in gardens just a few paces from the lovely
Anse Forbans beach, offering opportunities for great strolls along the sandy beach, swimming, snorkelling and
reef walking. This has to be a serious consideration if you intend to self-cater on Mahe Island.
Chalets d'Anse Forbans offer a choice of either 1 bedroom chalets (takes maximum of 3 persons) or 2 bedroom chalets (takes maximum of 5 persons). Each chalet
has a large fully equipped kitchen and dining area.. The two bedroom family
chalets have two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and naturally is more spacious. Ideal for children.
On arrival, all guests will receive a starter pack to stem
initial hunger and thirst. The helpful management will also provide guidance
on where to puchase local provisions. Chalets d'Anse Forbans also offer a chef service
for the occasional Creole evening dinner, prepared in your own chalet (offered
subject to availability). There are local shops and a restaurant nearby as well as the occasional fresh fish market stall.
To
explore the island further there is a economical and fairly reliable public
transport system serving all of Mahe (bus-stop nearby) or take a hire car from
the chalets, which can be arranged by the chalet's management.
